First ~ I did 3 transactions of 5 B.C. fruit snacks...for every 5 bought it produced a $3.50 catalina...15 snacks = $10.50 in catalinas, I used on those on the 4th transaction (the large order). I earned one $5 reward for the fruit snacks (see below)

Second ~ there is no limit on the mega sale!!! So because I bought 15 fruit snacks above, I got credit for 10 and the other 5 got applied to the big order, (in other words I bought 15 fruit snacks...it gave me a $5 reward for 10...and then it kept track on my plus card and applied the extra 5 fruit snacks to the big order count)...so on that order I earned 8 more $5 rewards ;-)

Third ~ I used lots of e-coupons as well as printables and paper coupons ;-) and boy was there were A LOT of COUPONS!!! It was a VERY long receipt too, LOL almost 8 feet to be exact :-)

Fourth ~ remember that my Kroger does not accept competitor's coupons...BUT if yours does you could do even better by lowering your total with comp. coups and possible overages :-)

Whole Foods Coupons ~ DEAL ALERT

I got an email today from Valerie, a Faithful & Frugal alum...she spotted a great coupon sheet at Whole Foods today. Tucked inside "The Whole Deal" coupon book was a sheet of FREE items coupons. These books were located at the checkouts and include the following:

Sept. 2-8: free 2-lb. mac and cheese with rotisserie chicken purchase

Sept. 9-15: free gallon of milk (not organic)

Sept. 16-22: free organic bagged salad and 12-oz. salad dressing

Several readers are reporting that some local Kroger stores are tripling coupons again!!! Call your local store to confirm...but my guess is any Kroger located close to a Harris Teeter WILL be tripling! This is normally the case when HT is running triples too ;-)

I made a Publix run last night and I did one shop, my hubby the other. Combined I spent $12.96 OOP and SAVED $166.26...It was a great shop. They were out of several things that I needed, and some things were not included in the sale here...so I had to rework alot of my shop on the fly! I was expecting an even lower total than this but because I had to get rainchecks on a few things, the total was slightly higher. No biggie though because with a 93% savings I certainly can't complain. They were out of the charcoal that was on sale, so the manager substituted another same size bag for the $7.99 price ;-) That's why I lOVE PUBLIX!!! Customer Service is their top priority!

Publix ~ New COUPON Booklet ALERT!

Found these at my local Publix...Summer Grilling Palate. The front says "Save over $10.00 inside"...although there are only 2 coupons in the book that total $4.00 savings...so the only thing I can figure is that they are using the sale price of the meat advertised inside and figuring that into the $10.00 savings. Still, a good book to grab!
