Some FREEBIES I picked up

This week has been a great week of FREE or Nearly FREE purchases...woohoo! BUT before I get to that...let me start by saying that this past weekend the Faithful & Frugal ministry pantry along with help from my personal stockpile and from Cissy Durham (a F&F alum) was able to bless a family in need with several hundred dollars worth of groceries. PRAISE GOD!!! Target and Publix

Here is what I bought this week at Publix and Target. Got some really great meat deals this week ;-)

I found a great deal on some Eye of Round steaks at Target...they were reduced for quick sale.

Spent $2.08 ~ Saved $9.32

1st ~ $5.99 with a $3.00 instant and $2.00 store coupon (sutton & dodge steak coup) FINAL $0.99
2nd ~ $5.41 with a $2.50 instant and a $2.00 store coupon (sutton & dodge steak coup) FINAL $0.91
I brought them home stuck them in a ziplock with A1 steakhouse marinade and left them overnight...tonight I put them the covered stone baker and cooked on 2oo degrees for about 3 hours...fall apart goodness and will be served with rice and veggies!!!
On Monday I took advantage of the Kingsford Charcoal/Meat deal at Publix.

Last week I did not make it to Kroger so this week I was anxious to get there and pick up some of the great deals. I also had to run in Publix and grab a few things.

First trip ~ Monday to get the penny item, they were out of the Banana Nut Cheerios so they let me sub the Crunch. They were also out of the penny item (cookies) so they subbed brownies.
