Last week's shopping & Today's Publix trip

Last week I was able to finish up the remaining March budget with a few quick trips...

1st up Walgreens:
Spent $1.68 ~ SAVED $16.12
2 Reynolds wrap - used the $0.89 Wags coup & $1.00/1 MQ = FREE + overage
8 Mentos gum - used the $1.00/1 MQ = FREE
Next up...Food Lion:
Spent $2.51 ~ SAVED $10.00
4 Chinet plastic cups - $2.99 BOGO - used $1.00/1 MQ
Then it was Target:
Spent $3.75 ~ SAVED $11.00
2 J&J buddies - $1.07 - used $0.75 Target & $2.00/2 MQ = FREE + overage
2 J&J baby wash - $2.44 - used $0.75 Target & $2.00/2 MQ = $0.69/each
2 Market Pantry fruit snacks - $0.89 - used $1.00/1 Target = FREE
2 Dole salads - $1.69 - used $1.00 Target = $0.69 each
2 Artisan mini loaves - $0.99 - used $1.00 Target = FREE
BUDGET UPDATE: All in all I went over the March budget by $2.84...BUT I always have extra change saved away for exactly this instance. So I did okay...and am thrilled with last month's bounty!
On to April...and Kroger:
Spent $21.65 ~ SAVED $47.28
1 Horizon milk 1/2 gal. $1.49 (no coups, but was marked down for quick sale...used it up for cereal and chocolate milk today)
1 Deli chicken $3.79 (no coups, but marked down and this was the big mama normally like $9.00)
2 Diet Dr. Pepper 2 liters - $1.99 each - used FREE mailer coup from promo = FREE
2 Glade soy candles - $5.99 each - used $4.00 glade printable & $2.00 Wags coup = FREE
6 Crystal Light go packs - $2.50 each - used buy 2 get 1 MQ & $1.00/2 MQ = $1.33/each
2 Al Dente pasta meals - $2.20 each - used $0.50 shortcuts, $0.50 cellfire & $0.75/1 MQ = $0.95 each
1 Kashi frozen dinner - $4.29 - used FREE mailer coup from promo = FREE
1 DVD Bolt - $19.99 - used $5.00 MQ & $5.00 Publix coup = $9.99 plus I will submit for $4.00 rebate, so total cost $5.99

Publix:
Spent $8.95 ~ SAVED $46.98
4 Duncan Hines cake mixes - $1.59 BOGO - used $0.35/1 MQ = $0.10 each
2 Pineapples - $2.99 each- used $0.75/1 printable MQ & $2.00 Target mailer = $1.24 each
2 Scooby Doo gummy vitamins - $5.69 each - used $4.00/2 MQ & $5.00/2 Publix = $1.19/each
2 Sundown vitamins - $3.89 & $3.59 - used $1.00/1 MQ & $6.00/2 Publix = FREE + $0.52 overage
2 Hostess snack cakes - $2/5.00 - used $0.50/1 MQ & $0.50/1 Target = $1.00 each
4 Kraft dressings - $2.69 BOGO - used $1.50/1 MQ = FREE + $0.16 overage each
1 Publix white bread (penny item)
I liked the deals at Publix so much that I decided to go back again tonight...I found that a lot of things were cheaper than most lists were stating...woohoo!

Spent $9.44 ~ SAVED $41.46
2 Publix Sugar (they were out of the Domino and subsituted Publix brand but still honored the coup) - $1.99 each - used $0.50/2 MQ = $1.49 each
4 Swanson canned broth - $1.09 BOGO - used $0.40/3 MQ = $0.28 each
2 Danimals crush cups (rain check) - $1.67 each - used $1.00/1 MQ = $0.67 each
2 Hostess snack cakes - 2/$5.00 - used $0.50/1 MQ & $0.50/1 Target = $1.00 each
1 Know gelatin - $1.39 - used $4.00/1 MQ = FREE + $2.61 overage
2 I can't believe butters - $2.39 BOGO - used $0.50/1 MQ = $0.20 each
2 I can't believe butter baking sticks - $2.39 BOGO - used $0.75/1 MQ = $0.45 each
1 Muir Glen tomato paste - $1.09 - used $1.00/1 MQ from mailer = $0.09
2 Bayer - $2.69 each - used $1.00/1 MQ & $2.00/1 Publix = FREE + $0.31 overage each
2 Sundown vitamins - $4.59 & $3.99 - used $1.00/1 MQ & $6.00/2 Publix = $0.29 each
1 Publix white bread (penny item)
